The 2024 GMC Acadia enters its third generation with a 328 horsepower engine, available all-wheel drive, and a wheelbase that has stretched 10.6 inches longer than the previous generations. The new Acadia’s increase in size places it firmly in the leading pack of the mid-size three-row SUV segment, alongside its corporate cousin, the Chevrolet Traverse, with whom it shares its platform. The interior of the SUV has been updated with finer materials, a larger infotainment system, and a whole host of standard technology and equipment that sets even the base model a grade above the competition. If you’re interested in seeing how well the new GMC Acadia fits your lifestyle, visit the team at Marianna Chevrolet to get a closer look.
The third generation of the GMC Acadia not only has a longer wheelbase but is also 3.2 inches taller. All that extra space translates into three spacious rows with plenty of room for adults no matter where they sit inside the cabin. The base model of the Acadia is a three-row configuration with seating for six. Opting for a third-row bench seat will extend the seating to seven. The first and second rows have plenty of wiggle room for taller passengers, and the sliding second row makes adjusting for taller passengers to ride in the rear seat possible. Premium cloth, leatherette, or genuine leather upholstery are available throughout the lineup (leatherette upholstery is standard). Also, the standard is power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Ventilated front seats and heated second-row outboard seats are available.

The additional space in the Acadia can be seen most in the cargo area, behind the rear, with 28 cubic feet of cargo space. There are 57 cubic feet of space behind the second row, and with all of the rear seats folded, drivers have access to a total of 98 cubic feet of space. A large under-the-floor bin allows you to keep your cargo secure when in public, and the available hands-free power liftgate makes loading and unloading a breeze.
The GMC Acadia has an alluring and stately exterior design. The off-road-focused AT4 trim adds rugged elements to it with a lifted ride height, a unique AT4 grille, AT4 badging, front and underbody skid plates, and red recovery hooks. It also features wheel-opening molding lights and a high-approach front design. The base model features 20-inch Bright Silver painted aluminum wheels and roof rails.
The Acadia is available in six colors, including Ebony Twilight Metallic and five others:
